Episode 6
Was Grandma this evil? Dad called the doctor, and I tried calming Chika, but he was still angry and didn’t want to talk to anyone. Breakfast was served, and Chika still refused to come and eat.
Mom started bleeding, and the doctor came to examine her. She had lost the baby, which made everyone unhappy that day. Mom couldn’t help but cry her eyes out.
I knew it was Grandma. I went to see Mom in her room and observed something. Her hair was short, which meant her hair was what Grandma had used in sacrificing to her gods.
I became scared because our hair had also been cut. Were we going to die too? I thought, as I left Mom’s room.
I ran to Chika and explained everything to him. He was also scared, and so he started crying.
Chika and I had to do something, so we decided we must expose Grandma to everyone. But we didn’t have proof that she was the one who killed the unborn baby, so we decided to look around the house for clues.
We looked and looked until we got tired, so we decided to get some water from the kitchen.
When we went, we saw Grandma walk inside the kitchen, so we hid. She also came to get water and left. We left the kitchen after her, and when we walked by, we saw a room that looked like Grandpa’s room, as Mom had described it.
We both tried opening it, and finally, it opened. We walked in and locked the door so no one would know we had gone in.
We saw pictures of Grandpa and some of his properties. It seemed he was a writer because there were many books written by him inside the room. We both started looking around until we found his diary.
“Something might be here that might help us expose Grandma!” Chika said, as we both left the room. We went to our room and started reading.
Grandpa explained how he fell in love with Grandma, he talked about his life, and how he discovered Grandma was a witch.
He said how he approached her about it and how she cut his hair and sacrificed it. He said how helpless he was.
And finally, he said that Grandma possessed black magic, and it was said that once anyone’s hair was sacrificed, it couldn’t be cancelled.
And the hair made her more powerful after being sacrificed.
